10 Reasons for Everyone to Play Alibi in Ashes
1. It's Nancy Drew. But, since you're reading this, that's obviously not enough.
2. It's Nancy Drew in River Heights. Still not enough? Fine...
3. It's Nancy Drew in River Heights with Ned, Bess, and George all helping. And you get to play as all of them. Got it yet? No? *rolls eyes*
4. Nancy's accused of a burning down the old town hall!
5. And Chief McGinnis shows up!
6. There's even an Brenda Carlton from the casefiles and Deirdre Shannon from the Girl Detective series!
7. And a older detective called Alexei Markovic, and a politician named Toni Scallari.
8. You get to explore the Drew home, including Nancy's room, and the police station!
9. Still don't believe me? Okay, I'll tell you the really great part: there's a ice cream parlor called Scoop, and you can order as much as you want!
10. It's awetastic. Seriously, you still don't believe me? Well, then you're just going to have check this out. ;)

The Hardys Need to Invite Nancy into ATAC
Anyone who's read the new Hardy Boys series: Undercover Brothers, or played Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, knows about the top secret American Teens Against Crime (ATAC). And that Nancy has long since found out about the Hardys involvement in the agency.
This naturally begs the question: why haven't Frank and Joe invited Nancy into the group? Is it because, technically, Nancy isn't suppose to know? Or because Nancy has never been known to be involved in an agency like ATAC?
Most likely it's because, with the exception of the cases in the super mysteries, games, and the tv show, they've never fused major parts of Nancy Drew and Frank and Joe's world together. But, who says that couldn't change?
What if Nancy got a trial run as a ATAC agent at the beginning of one of the new super mysteries, got her first case, but ended up wrapped up in the same case as the Hardys. But at the end didn't actually join ATAC because it didn't work for her? Okay, so maybe that's a bit complicated, but you get the idea.
Anyone else for Nancy to join ATAC?

Nancy Drew Meets Angry Birds
Random thought the day: what if they incorporated a Angry Birds type mini game into the next Nancy Drew game? Angry Birds is awesome. Nancy Drew is awesome. These things need to get together. ;)
I know Angry Birds is copyrighted, but that doesn't mean HeR couldn't create something inspired from that type of game. They've put minigames on Nancy's phone in the last three games, at least in the special editions. And they did a parallel version of Harry Potter in DDI and SHA, so why not? The idea is already there!
So what if HeR created a parallel Angry Birds? Would Loulou and Coucou take part? Would hamsters be kidnapping Romanov treasure, or Loulou's secret stash of cake? Could we throw a cheeseburger into the fray to get Joe to completely wipe out said evil hamsters? Would Krolmeister or Jane Penvellyn be the creator of this amazing game? Or would HeR credit it to Happy Birds or Rorio? ^.~
What would this game even be called? Happy Hamsters as a bit of a ring to it, but doesn't make any sense. Evil Hamsters perhaps. Or something as simple as Angry Parrots?

Any other crossover ideas out there?

Halloween
Halloween is fast approaching, which means the season of spookiness is full on. Plenty of people have gotten into the spirit of it, illustrated by the dozens of ghosts, ghouls, tombstones, and jack-o-lanterns that people have placed in their front yards. Sadly, though, I haven't seen any ND silhouettes carved into jack-o-lanterns.
Of course, Halloween also means getting to dress up as anything from a superhero to a famous theoretical physicist. And for Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys fans, that occasional means dressing as our favorite teen detective or character from the books/games.
If you've ever even considered it, you were probably instantly reminded of all the memorable characters, not just of the various super sleuths. Anyone dress up as Prof. Hotchkiss from Treasure in the Royal Tower?! :) And in the spirit of complete creepiness, who could forget Ethel in the Curse of Blackmoor Manor? Or for that matter, anything in that game... ^.^
Meanwhile classic books like The Invisible Intruder and The Twisted Claw (admittedly, not that scary) lurk on various bookshelves. And for a hilariously fake dish of fright, many of you will recall The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries episode Meet Dracula. ;)
What Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys related Halloween rituals, fun, and terror have you experienced?

Welcome to Sleuth Scoop!
Hi, I'm Cou.
My goal is to create a fun little blog about all things Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys. That means anything from thoughts on a Hardy Boys book I just read to how awesome the next Nancy Drew game will be. And, hopefully, you’ll feel like throwing in your thoughts too. :)
As far as the name, yes, I was inspired by the recent release of Alibi in Ashes, the new ND game. For anyone who hasn’t played the game, even non-ND fans, I definitely recommend it. It’s awetastic!
In the game, Scoop is a little ice cream parlor where you can hang out and pick up leads- and ice cream. ^.^ I just hope I can provide the same service here, though, sadly, all ice cream will have to be on a digital basic. ;)
For now, I'll leave you with this. :) All credit to Herinteractive.
